A: MARS staff have experience with all third party payers, i.e. federal (Medicare, Champus), private (commercial and HMO).

Q: Do you handle patient collections?

A: MARS will pursue the recovery of patient payments "on behalf of a medical provider", i.e. copayments, deductibles, and non-covered services, however, MARS does not report to any credit bureaus and is not a collection agency.

A: MARS is located in Southern California but handles collections for medical providers nationwide. MARS' hours of business support all time zones.

A: MARS charges a "contingency fee" based on cash recovered. MARS' fees are lower than industry average due to our higher rate of recovery.
